TherapyEd's 2010 NPTE Review & Study Guide
, by Susan O'Sullivan and Raymond Siegelman prepares
students for the NPTE with a comprehensive review of physical
therapy content, study and test-taking strategies, state licensure
information, and three complete simulated exams on CD. Each of the
600 questions has complete rationales for all correct and incorrect
choices and a second critical reasoning rationale identifies the
reasoning strategy used (inductive, deductive, analysis, inference,
or evaluation), methodology required, and specific area of knowledge
needed to correctly answer the question. The software (PC and Mac compatible)
analyzes results by content area, domain, and critical reasoning skill
and helps pinpoint strengths and weaknesses for a more efficient and
effective academic review.
The TherapyEd
Review and Study Guide is the only Guide that is updated every year
to insure students have the best and most accurate information about
the NPTE. The 2010 version has over 100 new and revised practice
questions in many areas including: Gastronintstinal, Metabolic,
Genitourinary, Integumentary, Endocrine, Multisystem, and Evidence
Based Practice. A second color was added to make the text easier to
read and use including color headings, tabs, graphs, tables and all
artwork. A new Imaging Appendix of X-Rays, CT scans, MRI’s and bone
scans was created along with a new index.
