We offer courses
throughout the year and across the country to prepare you for the Occupational
Therapy Certification Exam. Whether taking the exam for the first time or
repeating it, our intensive two-day course will help direct and focus your
preparation to help you succeed on the Certification Exam.
There will
be practice in reading, interpreting and answering multiple choice questions
so that you can assess your own strengths and weaknesses as you review
questions in all the major content areas. CRITICAL REASONING SKILLS
WILL BE STRESSED and actual exam behaviors will be replicated to better
develop the critical reasoning abilities you need to be successful on
the exam.
Materials include the Occupational Therapy Course Manual by Rita P. Fleming-Castaldy. This manual contains information about the NBCOT examination; principles of successful test-taking and general study hints; content review in a variety of important areas; study plans; self-assessment guides; practice questions and more. The National Occupational Therapy Examination Review & Study Guide with comprehensive content review and simulated examination software is also included with the course.
